Year 5 - River Walk Adventure!

Year 5 River Walk Adventure!
As part of our Rivers topic, Year 5 enjoyed a fantastic river walk around Stratford! The children became budding geographers as they identified key river features and local landmarks, discovering more about the famous Lucy’s Mill along the way. They also learned why weirs and locks play such an important role in managing our waterways and supporting our local community.
It was a real pleasure to take the year group out to explore our local area and bring our classroom learning to life. The children were curious, enthusiastic and full of great questions and they certainly did us proud with their respectful and safe behaviour throughout the trip. Well done, Year 5!
