In Reception, our school vision inspires the learning environment we create for our youngest children "Rooted in faith, we reach for the stars".
In addition to this, our school values of Community, Aspiration, Resilience, and Enjoyment are at the heart of everything we do.
We provide a caring and inclusive environment where each child is nurtured in their early steps, grounded in strong values and a sense of belonging. With faith as our foundation, we encourage curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning - helping every child to grow in confidence and reach their full potential. A warm, welcoming, and nurturing environment is provided, where children take their first steps into school life with confidence and curiosity.

Ofsted Recognition for Our Reception Classes
Our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) has been recognised by Ofsted as Strong Standard, celebrating the exceptional start that children receive in Reception.
Ofsted praised our ambitious and carefully planned curriculum, where engaging, hands-on learning sparks curiosity and develops the knowledge, skills and confidence children need to thrive. Teaching is highly effective, with staff tailoring learning to meet every child's needs, including those with SEND, while building strong foundations in early reading, writing and mathematics.
Inspectors highlighted our nurturing environment, where children develop rich language skills, growing independence and positive relationships. Through purposeful indoor and outdoor learning, children become confident, enthusiastic learners who are exceptionally well prepared for the transition into Year 1.
Strong partnerships with families ensure parents and carers play an active role in their child's learning journey, helping every child flourish from the very beginning.
